Rainey
Taylor has been licensed in the state of Oregon since June 2007,
when she joined and then headed the Healing Arts Team at Breitenbush
Hotsprings Retreat & Conference Center in Detroit, Oregon. In
September of 2008, she moved her practice to Eugene. She specializes
in the skillful, intuitive and patient application of various deep
tissue techniques, helping clients release acute and chronic tension
patterns caused by injury or imbalanced postural function without
causing them pain. This painless technique increases the
effectiveness of treatment (since relaxed tissues respond better to
manipulation and hold benefit longer) and makes deep tissue therapy
available to more physically sensitive clients who might need
clinical treatment, but normally avoid deeper styles of bodywork.
She also provides an intuitive, grounded, nurturing relaxation and
wellbeing session for those looking for a "less intense" experience
than received in a clinical treatment. Modalities include Medical
Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Swedish,
Warm & Cold Stone and Prenatal.
